At GMI Corporation, we specialize in the design, machining, and assembly of custom electromechanical devices for a variety of industries. With a wide breadth of knowledge in high precision machining of component metal parts, plastic part design and procurement, electronics, and value added assembly, our engineers can assist customers in optimizing their products for both cost and functionality. Our rich history in the medical industry continues to serve us well not only in the manufacturing of medical devices, but in a broad range of other sectors including defense, aerospace and electronics.

Once an initial design has been developed, a prototype can be produced using multiple rapid prototyping methods. After testing the prototype and incorporating the desired design changes, GMI will complete DFMEA's, and perform PFMEA's during the manufacturing process development stage. The project will then move seamlessly to our full-service production facility which is capable of handling all ranges of production volumes. Production capabilities include CNC turning, tumbling, cleaning, procurement of plastic and electronic components from multiple vendors, assembly, packaging and distribution. As a precision machining specialist, we can hold tolerances as tight as ±0.0001" as required. Our high-quality, value-added assembly and packaging can be performed in a separate, environmentally controlled area for sensitive applications. We are fully committed to providing the highest quality components and assemblies in the industry, and use multiple quality control methods to verify conformance to customer specifications, in accordance with our ISO 13485:2003 certified quality management program.
